Welsh gymnast Jacob Edwards has been out and about inspiring youngsters this week.
The 20-year-old Men’s Artistic star went back to All Saints Primary in Wrexham yesterday – his old primary school – to spend some time with and deliver gymnastics sessions for the children, with Team Wales.
It looks like a fun time was had by all!
Jacob of course is one of Wales’ top men’s gymnasts and memorably finished in the top 10 all-around at last summer’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
After the Games he switched from Olympus Gymnastics Club in Wrexham to City of Birmingham – the city where he is also studying sports journalism, at Birmingham City University.
He is one of a number of our top gymnasts who have been to schools across Wales, with fellow men’s star Emil Barber and Commonwealth Rhythmic gold medallist Gemma Frizelle also inspiring the next generation on their recent visits with Team Wales.
