It is with great sadness that Welsh Gymnastics has learned of the passing of former Commonwealth Games gymnast David Griffith at the age of 56.
David represented Bangor, City of Liverpool and Wales during his gymnastic career and competed at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
He would also go on to become a very successful bodybuilder and won many titles, including being crowned Mr Universe in 2001.
Our thoughts are with David’s family and friends at this difficult time.
David’s funeral service and cremation will be held at Flintshire Memorial Park on Monday 31st October 2022 at 2pm.
