As we reflect on a sparkling 2022 for our Welsh gymnasts, our collaboration with official partners Quatro has really made our stars shine even brighter.

This year we signed a three-year deal with Quatro, a global leader in the field of gymnastics apparel, to become Welsh Gymnastics’ executive leotard supplier for our Welsh squads and performance programmes – and ensure our gymnasts are dressed to impress.

Some of the stunning designs supplied by Quatro have been on show throughout a quite memorable year, including being proudly worn by the likes of Brinn Bevan, Jea Maracha and the rest our men’s and women’s artistic gymnasts when representing Team Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Jacob Edwards, Joe Cemlyn-Jones, Emil Barber, Josh Cook and Brinn Bevan proudly represented Team Wales at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

There have also been plenty of other proud moments; our Welsh tumblers took the 15th International Loulé Cup in Portugal by storm wearing Quatro, returning home with multiple medals, while our women’s artistic team were inspired to win gold at the Northern Europeans in Finland.

Welsh Gymnastics Performance Director Jo Coombs said: “We’re delighted to enjoy such a positive relationship with a valuable partner like Quatro.

“Our gymnasts at every level and across each discipline are so proud to represent Wales and really buy into what that means – and Quatro’s designs do just encapsulate that and make them stand out from the crowd.

“This year has been so positive and we can’t wait to see what 2023 brings with more exciting collaboration.”

Joanna Vazquez, Quatro founder and Director, said: “Quatro are very proud to be sponsoring Welsh Gymnastics, as a business founded in Wales this is a very special partnership for us.

“We’re delighted to be working closely with Welsh Gymnastics and their gymnasts across all levels and disciplines to give them the confidence to shine bright in everything they do.

It’s been a fantastic year and we are very excited to celebrate all the success achieved in 2022 and look forward to further developing the partnership over the next few years.”

Team Wales star Poppy-Grace Stickler sparkled in her first year as a senior gymnast.

A fantastic year rounded off with Team Wales Commonwealth Games star Poppy-Grace Stickler and current Welsh and British espoir all-around champion Ellie Lewis being the special guests at Quatro’s fun-packed Lights Camera Sparkle event at Sport Wales National Centre earlier this month.
